Puka Nacua Fantasy Outlook 2026: WR1 Finish With The Volume Already Maxed
Nacua led the league in receptions and finished WR1 with 375 points on 29% of his team's targets. The question is whether he can repeat a performance that cleared every posted line by miles.
Why three sources agree on the first round
Our board has Puka Nacua 5 overall and WR2 at his position with 294.0 implied PPR points. ESPN has him 4 overall and also second at receiver. Drafters take him at 6.1. The consensus is tight and the logic is simple: he finished WR1 in his second season and has been a top-six per-game scorer in all three years as a pro.
He caught 129 passes for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns across 16 games in 2025, leading the league in receptions while commanding 29% of the Rams' total targets. That target share is elite even by WR1 standards, and it followed a rookie season where he cleared 990 yards in just 11 games before injury.
The production is not in question. The profile is proven. The volume is as high as volume gets for a receiver who does not also play quarterback.
He led the league in receptions and cleared his posted yardage line by 514 yards. The question is whether last season is who he is or the high end of his range.
Where volume maxed and efficiency must carry him
Read the 2025 projection against what he actually did and the gap is enormous. Sportsbooks posted him at 1,200.5 receiving yards and 5.5 receiving touchdowns with roughly 104 receptions. He delivered 1,715 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 129 catches. That is not a modest beat — the yardage line was low by 514 yards and the touchdown line was low by 4.5 scores.
This year the market has adjusted upward but not all the way. He is posted near 1,325 receiving yards on 109.5 receptions with 7.5 receiving touchdowns. The yardage and catch projections have moved closer to reality. The touchdown line has come up but still sits two and a half scores below what he just finished with.
