Kenneth Walker III Fantasy Outlook 2026: RB15 In Kansas City, Ten Spots Below ADP

Why the gap exists between projection and draft price

Our board has Kenneth Walker 30 overall and RB14 at running back with 217.0 implied PPR points. ESPN ranks him 28 and the draft room takes him at 11.1. That seven-spot difference is not subtle — it is the gap between a mid-third-round pick and an early-third-round pick, and it exists because the market is pricing a role he has never produced in.

Walker joins Kansas City after finishing RB22 last season with 191.9 fantasy points across 17 games in Seattle. He has been a full-time NFL back for three seasons and has never finished better than RB19. The projection for 2026 is 950 rushing yards, 7.5 rushing touchdowns, 272 receiving yards, and 37 receptions, which would produce roughly 217.0 points. That would be his best season, and it still would not justify 11.1.

The bullish case is that Andy Reid's offense creates more touchdown opportunities than Seattle's did, and that Walker steps into feature-back work in a top-tier scoring environment. The skeptical case is that he has never been a top-15 back in per-game scoring, Reid has not fed a single running back 250 touches in years, and the projection already assumes improvement over what he just delivered.

He has never finished better than RB19 in three seasons as a starter, and the market is pricing a role he has never produced in.
