Tony Pollard Fantasy Outlook 2026: The Volume Is Real, The Scoring Is Not
Pollard handled 64% of Tennessee's carries and still finished RB30 per game, capped by an offense that has given him exactly five rushing touchdowns in back-to-back seasons.
The gap, and what creates it
Our board ranks Tony Pollard 90 overall with 163.0 implied PPR points. The draft room waits until 114.3 to take him, roughly 24 picks later. ESPN has him at 68, closer to our number than to his ADP.
That makes him a value by the math, but the interesting part is why the draft room hesitates. He handled 64% of Tennessee's carries last season and ran for 1,082 yards on 4.5 per attempt. Those are workhorse numbers. The projection for 2026 is 800 rushing yards on 5.5 touchdowns with 28 receptions for 187 yards, which would produce 163.0 PPR points if he plays a full season.
The skepticism is not about the volume. It is about what Tennessee does with him inside the 10, and the answer for two straight years has been: not enough.
He handled 64% of Tennessee's carries and ran for 1,082 yards, but the offense has given him exactly five rushing touchdowns in back-to-back seasons.
What he actually did with 246 carries
Pollard finished RB23 overall and RB30 per game with 185.8 PPR points across 17 games in 2025. He beat his posted rushing yards prop by 181 yards but came in four receptions short of his 29.5 line and landed exactly on his 5.5 rushing touchdown number.
Nine of those 17 games finished under 10 PPR points. One cleared 20. His best week was 28.1 in Week 14 and his worst was 5.3 in Week 13. The weekly volatility was driven entirely by whether Tennessee found the end zone on the ground, because his yardage and receptions were remarkably stable.
He caught 80% of his targets and posted a career-high 1,082 rushing yards, but Tennessee's offense ranked 28th in red-zone rushing attempts and gave him exactly five rushing touchdowns for the second season running. The volume is real. The scoring context is the problem.
