Stefon Diggs Fantasy Outlook 2026: The Market Thinks 32 Means Done
Diggs just posted 1,013 yards and an 83% catch rate at age 32, finishing WR17, and the draft room still makes you wait until pick 123.1. Our board has him 41 spots earlier.
The disagreement is about whether last season was real
Our board has Stefon Diggs 82 overall with 168.0 implied PPR points. ESPN has him 89. The draft room waits until 123.1 to take him, a gap of 41 picks between our number and where he actually comes off the board.
Our value model puts his fair pick at 114, which would make him a seventh-round selection instead of a thirteenth. The entire disagreement comes down to one question: was last season's WR17 finish the start of his decline curve, or was it what a high-end possession receiver looks like when he no longer plays for an elite passing offense?
The market is pricing age over actual usage, and the props suggest sportsbooks still see him as a 62-catch, 800-yard player, not someone about to fall off a cliff.
What he actually did at age 32
He caught 85 passes for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns across all 17 games, finishing with 210.3 PPR points and 12.4 per game. That ranked seventeenth among receivers in total points.
The market projected him for 55 receptions and 750.5 yards before the season. He beat the catch line by 30 and the yardage line by 262. His 83% catch rate ranked second all-time among receivers with 100-plus targets, on 21% of Washington's targets.
Seven of his 17 games came in under 10 PPR points, but three cleared 20, and his floor in games he played was 4.0 points in Week 12.
Why the room treats thirty two as a cliff
Age is the obvious reason. Thirty-two-year-old receivers decline, and the draft room has learned to avoid paying for past production when the aging curve says it will not repeat.
