Malik Nabers Fantasy Outlook 2026: Four Games Before a Torn ACL
Nabers played four games in 2025, posted 37.7 points in Week 2, then tore his ACL. The rookie season that preceded it is the reason he is still a second-round pick.

Four games of elite rookie production
Going into 2025 our board had Malik Nabers sixth overall and ESPN had him ninth. He played four games, posted 57.1 PPR points, and tore his ACL in Week 4. That is the entire 2025 story in one sentence.
The sportsbooks had him at 108.3 receptions, 1,150.5 receiving yards, and 7.5 touchdowns before the season. He was on pace for none of them when the injury happened, but four games is not enough data to call it a collapse. One of those four was a 37.7-point eruption in Week 2. Another was a 3.3-point dud in Week 3. The sample is too small to mean anything except that he was healthy enough to play receiver at an NFL level, and then he was not.
The relevant season is 2024, his rookie year, when he caught 109 passes for 1,204 yards and 12 touchdowns with a 35% target share. That production came despite New York cycling through three quarterbacks and finishing with the league's 28th-ranked passing offense by DVOA. The target share and the route-running were real. The offense around him was not, and he still finished as a top-ten fantasy receiver.
You are betting that a 23-year-old who commanded a 35% target share as a rookie can return from a torn ACL and do something close to that again. That is reasonable. It is just not safe.
ACL recovery is the first variable, not the only one
The torn ACL happened in early October, which puts his return timeline somewhere in July or August depending on rehab. That means he may miss training camp, may be limited in Week 1, or may be fully cleared by September. The sportsbooks do not post injury-return props, so there is no market number to cite here. You are guessing, and so is everyone else.
