Breece Hall Fantasy Outlook 2026: The Workload Stayed, The Efficiency Did Not
Hall has handled 266-plus touches in three straight seasons but finished RB19 last year with 1,065 rushing yards and four touchdowns against a 5.5-touchdown line.
Why the sources agree at the back of the third round
Our board ranks Breece Hall 37 overall, ESPN has him 30, and drafters take him at 58.1. That alignment reflects a market that has watched the same outcome two years running: a three-down workload that no longer converts into top-12 fantasy production.
Last season he carried 53% of his team's rushing attempts and logged 266 total touches across 16 games, finishing RB19 with 207.7 PPR points and 13 per game. He ran for 1,065 yards against a posted line of 875.5, beating the projection by 189 yards. He also scored four rushing touchdowns against a 5.5 line, and caught only 36 passes against a projection of 47.84.
That split shows where the inefficiency lives. The volume is exactly what you draft a franchise-tagged back to deliver. The touchdowns and target share are not, and both have trended down for two seasons.

The receiving work disappeared and has not come back
In 2023 and 2024 Hall ranked top-four among running backs in receptions and receiving yards. Last season his target share fell to 10%, a career low, and he caught 36 passes for 350 yards. That is the difference between a pass-catching back with a safe weekly floor and a rusher who depends entirely on yardage and goal-line work.
The sportsbooks had him at 350.5 receiving yards and 47.84 receptions going into 2025, and he came in under both. For 2026 the market has adjusted downward: he is now posted at 320 receiving yards and 38 receptions. The projection assumes last year was not variance but the new baseline.
