Cam Skattebo Fantasy Outlook 2026: 19 Points Per Game In Six Full Games

The rookie baseline, adjusted for injury

Cam Skattebo finished his rookie season as the 37th running back and 101st player overall, with 127.7 fantasy points across eight games. That finish means nothing without context, because the ankle injury that limited him to two appearances after Week 6 erased half his season.

The real baseline is the six games where he played full snaps. In those contests he averaged 19.1 fantasy points per game, which would have ranked ninth among all running backs if stretched across a full 17-game season. He beat out Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary for the lead role by Week 2 and held it until the injury, averaging 16 carries and 4.7 targets per game when active.

Sportsbooks had posted him at 475.5 rushing yards and 4.5 rushing touchdowns before the season. He delivered 410 and 5 in eight games, which means he beat the touchdown line and stayed roughly on pace for the yardage despite missing half the year. The receiving projection — 24.24 receptions for 184.25 yards — he matched exactly, catching 24 for 207 yards and two touchdowns.

In the six games before the ankle injury limited him, he averaged 19.1 fantasy points per game, which would have ranked ninth among running backs across a full season.

What the year-two projection is actually buying

Our board ranks him 53 overall with 186.0 implied PPR points, ESPN has him 45, and ADP sits at 71.2. The market for 2026 has him projected at 825 rushing yards, 6.5 rushing touchdowns, 44 receptions, and 317 receiving yards. That is a full-season version of what he did per game as a rookie, scaled up and adjusted for a new coordinator in Matt Nagy.
