Bhayshul Tuten Fantasy Outlook 2026: The Etienne Vacancy With No Proven Volume

The rookie baseline was almost nothing

Bhayshul Tuten finished his rookie season as the 53rd running back in fantasy, with 88.6 total PPR points across 15 games played. That is 5.9 points per game. Thirteen of those 15 weeks came in under 10 points. His best game was 15.4 in Week 2, and his worst was negative-1.5 in Week 14 after a fumble.

He handled 83 carries and caught 10 passes all season, with just one outing that cleared double-digit touches. The sportsbooks had projected him at 334 rushing yards and 1.89 rushing touchdowns before the season; he delivered 307 and 5. He missed badly on the receiving side and beat the touchdown line by more than double, which is the profile of a goal-line vulture, not a featured back.

The seven touchdowns on 93 total touches gave him a 7.5% touchdown rate. The league average for running backs is closer to 3%. That kind of efficiency does not repeat when the touches triple.

Sportsbooks posted only a rushing yards line on him—no receptions prop, no touchdown count—which is the clearest signal available that the role itself is not settled.

What drafting Tuten at his current ADP assumes about Jacksonville

Our board ranks him 83 overall with 167.0 implied PPR points. ESPN has him at 47, and drafters take him at 68.4. The gap between those three numbers—13 picks from top to bottom—is wider than usual, and it exists because the projection is not about what Tuten has done. It is about Travis Etienne leaving and someone needing to carry the ball 180 times.

The sportsbooks have posted a rushing yards line of 725 and a rushing touchdown line of 6 for 2026. They have him at 32 receptions and one receiving touchdown. That adds up to roughly 959 total yards and 7 scores, which would be a useful fantasy season if it all arrived in one player's hands.
