Trevor Lawrence Fantasy Outlook 2026: QB3 at Pick 96 Is the Biggest Edge on the Board

The disagreement, in three numbers

Our board ranks Trevor Lawrence 49 overall and QB3 at the position with 316.0 implied PPR points. ESPN has him 94. The draft room waits until 96.6 to take him, which is the eighth round in most formats.

That is a gap of 48 picks between what our projections say he is worth and where you can actually get him. Our value model grades it an 82-out-of-100 surplus and puts his fair pick at 67, which would make him the third quarterback off the board rather than somewhere between the fifth and seventh.

The edge exists because the market still prices Lawrence as the player who disappointed in 2023 and 2024, not the one who just posted 338 PPR points and finished QB4.

He beat his total touchdown prop by 12 scores, and the draft room still makes you wait until the eighth round.

What he actually did, and what the market expected

Sportsbooks posted Lawrence at 22.5 passing touchdowns and 3,750.5 passing yards before last season. He threw for 29 and 4,007. They had him at 3.5 rushing touchdowns and 294 rushing yards. He ran for nine and 359.

He beat his total touchdown prop by 12 scores. That is not a rounding error — it is the market systematically underpricing his rushing role and his red-zone usage in an offense that returned the same coordinator.

He finished QB4 despite ranking seventh in pass attempts, which means the efficiency was real. Seven of his 17 games cleared 20 PPR points. Only two came in under 10, and his worst week was 7.8 in a game Jacksonville trailed wire-to-wire. His ceiling week was 44.3 in Week 15.
