Michael Wilson Fantasy Outlook 2026: The Market Is Not Buying The Second-Half Surge
Wilson finished WR10 after ranking 67th on our preseason board, but the late-season explosion came while Marvin Harrison Jr. dealt with injuries and the props have priced him closer to his first nine games than his last eight.
What drafters believe about the second half
Michael Wilson finished as the tenth receiver in fantasy last season with 220.6 PPR points across all 17 games. A year ago our board had him 67th at the position and sportsbooks posted him at 525.5 receiving yards and 2.31 receiving touchdowns. He delivered 1,006 yards and seven scores.
The room is now taking him at 107.0 against an ESPN rank of 85. The case is simple: he captured 20% of Arizona's targets and averaged over 21 fantasy points per game in the final eight weeks with Jacoby Brissett under center. The problem is the market looked at the same season and declined to project it forward at anything close to that rate.
The draft room is paying for a WR10 finish while sportsbooks have priced him 275 yards lower than what he just delivered, betting the final eight weeks were a hot stretch rather than a new baseline.
Where the sportsbooks refuse to follow the surge
Sportsbooks have now posted Wilson at 731 receiving yards and five touchdowns for 2026. Set that against the 1,006 and seven he just recorded and the discount is stark: the market is pricing him roughly 275 yards lower, which converts to 160.0 implied PPR points and a board rank of 96.
Our value model lands his fair pick near 145 with low confidence, meaning there is not enough posted market on him to call this cleanly. The draft room is paying for a repeat of the WR10 finish while the books are explicitly pricing something closer to his first nine games than his last eight.
That first-nine-games version averaged 7.4 PPR points per contest with zero games over 20. The final-eight-weeks version averaged 21.2 with four boom games. The projection is betting the truth is somewhere in between.
