Courtland Sutton Fantasy Outlook 2026: Draft Rooms Are Ignoring The Age-30 Cliff
Sutton finished WR13 last season with 1,017 yards and seven touchdowns, but sportsbooks have posted him at 750 yards and 6.5 scores for 2026 — a 267-yard markdown that converts to 73 on our board against an ADP of 125.6.
What the draft room is paying for
Courtland Sutton finished as the 13th receiver in fantasy last season with 219.7 PPR points across all 17 games, on 74 receptions, 1,017 yards, and seven touchdowns. He has now posted back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns and ranked top-12 in receiving touchdowns in each of the past three years.
The touchdown consistency is not variance. He has ranked top-10 among all receivers in end-zone targets in each of the past four seasons, and that red-zone role survived a quarterback change from Russell Wilson to Bo Nix without eroding. The draft room is taking a receiver with a demonstrated floor at 125.6, betting the production holds for one more year.
The market posted him at 875.5 yards last season and he delivered 1,017. It has now repriced him at 750, a 267-yard markdown that the draft room is ignoring.
Where the props stop supporting the price
Sportsbooks posted Sutton at 875.5 receiving yards and 6.5 touchdowns before last season. He beat the yardage line by 141 yards and matched the touchdown projection exactly. The market has now repriced him at 750 receiving yards and 6.5 touchdowns for 2026, a reduction of 267 yards from what he just delivered.
That converts to 171.0 implied PPR points and a board rank of 73. ESPN is more optimistic at 73, but both projections sit well ahead of the 125.6 ADP the draft room is paying. Our value model puts his fair pick near 111 — more than two rounds later.
The markdown centers on two facts: he turns 30 before the season and Denver added Jaylen Waddle. His target share dropped from 26% in 2024 to 21% in 2025 even without that competition arriving, and the props are pricing in further erosion.
